This course prepares students to take the Maryland Real Estate Licensing Examination. Students that attend all of the classes and receive a 70% or better on the final examination will receive a certificate that enables them take the state examination.

This course is designed to prepare individuals to take the Maryland Real Estate Salesperson Licensing Exam. Students will gain practical skills in preparing real estate documents, applying knowledge of real estate finance and calculations, navigating agency relationships, advising clients on market conditions and pricing, adhering to legal and ethical standards, conducting effective property marketing and showings, and negotiating and closing transactions. Topics covered include Maryland real estate law, contracts, agency relationships, property ownership and transfer, financing, valuation, and ethics.
